+01.40 units (N'wide Match-Ups)
- 01.50 units (Outrights/Props)

Total: +7.55 units

Need a good day at Phoenix after a disasterous one at Atlanta. Realy feel positive about what I've got for tonight. Three 2 unit plays the most in one day so far this year (8-3 last 11 with those).

Match-Ups

2.00 units Juan P. Montoya (+120) over Casey Mears (@bookmaker)
Played this same match-up last week and won with Montoya. JPM has been very consistent since California all his finishes have been between 13th-20th. His best tracks(so far), outside of road courses have been flat tracks. Think he is Top 15 tonight and with some luck maybe a little better.

2.00 units Paul Menard (-115) over Scott Riggs (@5dimes)
Another driver who has hung around 15th-20th most of the season. This DEI team seems to be improving and I think they will become a little more competetive if Menard continues to mature. Like their make-up this weekend enough to get a win over Riggs, who qualified well but I can't see nothing better than 20th at best.

2.00 units Tony Stewart(-125) over Matt Kenseth (@bookmaker)
Tony has had some very good runs here, 2nd and 4th here last year in the COT. His practice sessions were just average but look for him near the front at the end. For Kenseth, once again, he has struggled so far this weekend and the team will have to go to work to get this car near the front.

1.00 unit Denny Hamlin (+135) over Carl Edwards (@bookmaker)
Going against one of the favorites but Hamlin has been hot lately and his best tracks are the flat tracks. Two wins at Pocono and one at Martinsville. Two of his last three at Phoenix resulted in 3rd place finishes.

1.00 unit Kurt Busch (+120) over Jeff Burton (@5dimes)
Busch is desperate for a good run(has not had a Top 10 since Daytona) and this may be the place to get it. Looked good yesterday with a 7th overall average lap speed in Happy Hour. Burton is struggling big time.

1.00 unit Kevin Harvick (-125) over Dale Jr. (@5dimes)
Harvick is a darkhorse tonight. Swept both races here in 2006 and had two Top 10's last year. Jr's is having a good year but this has not been one of his best tracks. Like Harvick here.

Props (@sportsbook.com)

1.00 unit Martin Truex Jr. (-115) to finish better than 10.5
Strong here last year, strong out of the box this weekend

1.00 unit Kurt Busch (-115) to finish better than 18.5
Expecting more out of Busch than that

Outrights

0.33 unit Kevin Harvick (14 to 1) (@sportsbook.com)
0.33 unit Denny Hamlin (12 to 1) (@sportsbook.com)
0.33 unit Tony Stewart (10 to 1) (@sportsbook.com)

Good luck to everyone.
